Safety

  • I strongly believe that safety allows a city to keep growing. New residents look for a safe place to buy their new home, send their children to school and get involved in their community. Small and large business owners look for growing cities to expand their operations and serve the growing number of residents. So you can see the two go hand in hand (safety & community /economic growth). I have dedicated so many of my efforts to keep wide-open channels of communication with the Plano Police Department and our Plano Firefighters Association. On March 12th, I received the honor of being endorsed for re-election to Plano’s City Council by the Plano Firefighters Association. http://www.planofirefighters.org/

Job Growth & Economic Development:

  • I have committed myself to re-branding our city efforts to establish new retail markets and business opportunities that will create jobs for the City of Plano. We are starting to see the results from the current council’s dedication to proving that Plano is an ideal place to expand, create or relocate small, large and retail developments. I can guarantee you that in my next term, I will establish direct lines of communication with retail operations, small and large business owners, and our citizens. I believe that not only do we need the new developments, but our citizens need a forum that makes finding newly posted jobs as easy as checking your email. I will work closely with our technology group to create a City Forum where new, full or part-time jobs can be posted for you to view. This type of growth and communication is key to our long-term success as a city and my experience, along with other council members, will be vital in making this a reality.

Infrastructure & Neighborhood Revitalization:

  • The City of Plano has some of the most desirable living developments in Texas. We also have some developments, roads and buildings that need revitalization. I believe this is one of my strongest qualities. I am an experienced 25-year small business owner of an architectural firm. I received my Masters of Architecture in Urban Design from Texas A&M University and I believe that I am well equipped to handle the infrastructure and revitalization projects that will be facing the City of Plano over the years to come. This is a major area of concern for many citizens moving forward and we must have a voice on our council that has the experience to work with our National League of Cities in Washington D.C. to make sure that your best interest are being heard. This election…experience matters.
